Recommendation to remove shed at Stone Cottage (Red Cross Building)

The wood shed outside of the Red Cross Building (Stone Cottage) has been an issue for a number of years. It was installed sometime in 1050's as a small storage shed. It has since ceased being a useful structure and is more of a nuisance. The shelving inside is rotting, it is listing to the east and has become a residence for rodents. Staff has consulted the State's Historic Preservation Division and they concur that it should be removed.
