At the February 16, 2017, ESB meeting, the board received an update regarding Environmental Services budget performance for FY17 quarter 1 and 2. Based on the six month analysis, Environmental Services is projecting to have a $300K deficit for FY17 operating expenses. The ESB has requested more data for commercial programs and would like to research the possibility of save as you throw as a means to obtain a balanced budget. The ESB will discuss Environmental Services rate increase and rate change.
