I move to adopt the “Bus Stop Improvement Plan” and encourage staff to begin implementation of the identified improvements according to the phasing detailed in the plan.

The purpose of this plan is to provide a comprehensive strategy and approach to bus stop identification and improvement for Los Alamos County including White Rock. This plan serves as a guiding document for Los Alamos County and Atomic City Transit and is a living document that is subject to change with the change in use of the stops. The bus stop improvement plan will focus on stop accessibility, increasing passenger or user amenities, and design consistency.
The plan shall identify:
1. Establish an inventory of bus stops
2. Identify bus stop usage using the boarding/alighting survey
3. Identify areas of concerns as well as opportunities for improvements
