Recommended Action
I move that Council adopt Incorporated County of Los Alamos Resolution No. 18-18; A Resolution Authorizing the Utilities Manager to Execute Documents with the New Mexico Environment Department on Behalf of the Los Alamos County Relating to the White Rock Wastewater Treatment Plant, Project Number CWSRF 083 and Authorizes the Designation of Official Representatives and Signatory Authorities

The Utilities Manager recommends adoption of the resolution as presented.

The Board of Public Utilities recommends adoption of the resolution as presented.
Body
On the Council agenda this evening is a public hearing seeking approval of Los Alamos Code Ordinance No. 687 authorizing the Incorporated County of Los Alamos to enter into a loan agreement with the New Mexico Environment Department (NMED) for the purpose of obtaining loan funds for the construction of a new waste water treatment facility in White Rock. This resolution authorizes specific designated individuals to take such actions as are specified and necessary to complete the loan process and servicing.
Alternatives
If this resolution is not adopted by Council closing on the loan will be delayed while other individuals are named, and a revised Resolution is prepared for Council consideration.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Unplanned Item
There is no fiscal impact to this resolution, and staff named performs the duties assigned as related to other, existing financing already, so staff impact is minimal.
