County Manager's Recommendation

Body
On October 10, 2018, Amy Rogers submitted a petition on behalf of 559 people, at least 5 of whom are registered voters of Los Alamos County, registering their opposition to the location of the bicycles-only Flow Trail Project in Bayo Canyon. Further, they support the exploration of a bicyles-only flow trail in another location with less user conflict and better infrastructure for bicyle tourism. The petition is contained in Attachment A.
As provided for in the Los Alamos County Code, the Council shall place on the agenda of its next regular meeting the subject of any written request signed by five or more qualified voters of the County and presented to the county clerk at least ten (10) days prior to that meeting. This item is being placed on the Council agenda for acknowledgement and possible discussion and/or action.
