Recommended Action
I move that County Council ratify the newly elected Council Chair, and Vice Chair as the Chair and Vice Chair, respectively, of the County Indigent Hospital and County Health Care Board.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the motion as presented.
Body
Pursuant to state law, the County Indigent Hospital and County Health Care Board is composed of the members of the County Council. State law also provides that Chair of the County Council will serve as the Chair of the Board. It is appropriate for the Councilors, acting as the Board, to ratify the service of the Chair and Vice Chair of the Council, as Chair and Vice Chair of the Board.
