Approval of Summary Plat for Tract U, a subdivision of Eastern Area No. 2
Recommended Action
I move that Council approve a grant of utility easement within Tract U, a subdivision of Eastern Area No. 2.
Utilities Manager Recommendation
The Utilities Manager recommends that Council approve the motion as presented.
Body
The summary plat was approved by the Planning and Zoning Commission on February 27, 2019 as part of the development application for a new business proposed at the southeast corner of Trinity Drive and 15th Street. There are four items requiring Council approval included on the attached plat.
1) Acceptance of 0.26 acre of public right-of-way dedicated for roadway features associated with the signalized intersection of 15th Street and Trinity Drive.
2) Acceptance of a trail easement for the planned Canyon Ridge Trial.
3) Acceptance of utility easements for the new public utilities required to serve the new development.
4) Vacation of existing easements which are no longer needed.
Alternatives
If the summary plat is not approved the schedule of the new development will be delayed. The applicant has submitted a building permit.
