Recommended Action
I move that Council approve the vacation of utility easement within Lot B-2, A Subdivision of Tract WD and a Portion of Tract WA, Eastern Area No. 2.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve this vacation of easement as requested.
Body
The utility easement being vacated is no longer needed and the owner has requested it be vacated to remove the encumbrance on the property. The County Code grants Council the authority to sell, lease, exchange or otherwise transfer county-owned real property and interests in real property (Sec. 14-31 (4)).
Alternatives
If the vacation of utility easement is not approved the encumbrance on the property will remain.
