The ESB will review and discuss the July 2019 Residential Sustainability Report. The data now includes more data and graphs that will demonstrate overall diversion as a result of the new yard trimming program which began on July 9, 2018.
The yard trimming program resumed on March 18, 2019.
Most recent additions to the report include greenhouse gas emissions reduced by recycling and composting. Since the program has been in existence one full year, we added data that compares tonnages of material collected over each year. Also, there was an error in 2016 brush data, the tare weight of the truck was incorrect and was adding 4 tons to each load. When corrected it significantly reduced the amount of brush collected in those years.
