Recommended Action
I move to approve Incorporated County of Los Alamos Resolution No. 19-21 to authorize the application to New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) for Federal Fiscal Year 2021 Section 5310 Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities Program for an estimated total amount of $115,991 to fund an ACT Assist Replacement Vehicle for Atomic City Transit; committing to the local match in the amount of $28,998 to fund the Section 5310 Transit Program for Federal Fiscal Year 2021.
County Manager’s Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the Resolution as presented.

A public notice with the intent to apply for federal funding was published in the Los Alamos Daily Post on August 8, 2019.

The grant request is $115,991 for capital outlay support. If awarded, this grant will allow Los Alamos County to continue to provide the ADA complementary paratransit service within Los Alamos County.
