Recommended Action
I nominate Dianne Wilburn, Christopher Olsen, and David Hampton to fill three vacancies on the Parks & Recreation Board and move that Council appoint the nominees to the three vacant positions for a term beginning on December 01, 2019 and ending on November 30, 2021.

The purpose of this item is to fill three vacancies on the Parks & Recreation Board. These vacancies represent one expired term of Dianne Wilburn (D), who is eligible for reappointment, and two vacancies left by outgoing Board Members Stephanie Nahkleh (D) and Donald Ulrich (I). The applicants for this position are: Dianne Wilburn [D], Christopher Olsen [R] and David Hampton [R].
The interview committee consisted of the following: PRB Vice-Chair: Dina Pesenson; Council Liaison: Randall Ryti; and PRB Support Staff: Linda Lindstrom. The interview committee recommends re-appointing Dianne Wilburn and appointing Christopher Olsen and David Hampton to the Board. The recommendation of the interview committee is attached.

This Parks and Recreation Board is a seven-member board and have 2-year terms, currently composed as follows:

Appointing either or all applicants will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions.
