Recommended Action
I move that Council approve the appointment of the following three (3) individuals to the Community Development Advisory Board with terms ending August 14, 2022; Anna Dillane, Denise Derkacs, and Andrea Pistone as Board Members.
Body
The purpose of this item is to fill the vacancies (currently four) of the Community Development Advisory Board (CDAB).

CDAB is composed of seven (7) members, terms are for 36 months and Representatives may serve up to two terms. Terms expire on August 14 of the year in which the term expires. The four (4) board member vacancies expire August 14, 2022. The three (3) currently filled board member positions expire on August 14, 2020.

Five (5) applications were received and only four (4) applicants appeared for interview: Anna Dillane (D), Denise Derkacs (D), Andrea Pistone (Declined to State) and David Hampton (R).

The interview panel consisted of Councillor Antonio Maggiore, Council liaison to CDAB; CDAB Chair's panel designate Catherine Ozment; Community Development Department (CDD) Director Paul Andrus; and County Staff Liaison to CDAB Andrew Harnden. The panel jointly agreed the four (4) interviewed applicants are qualified to serve based on their the backgrounds, interests and skills. Subsequently, David Hampton cancelled his application as he is also being considered for appointment on another County Board this evening.

The panel recommended all four applicants they interviewed however only applicants Anna Dillane (D), Denise Derkacs (D), Andrea Pistone (DTS) are being forwarded for consideration as CDAB members - with Terms to expire August 14, 2022 - as Mr. Hampton is being considered for the Parks and Recreation Board.
