Amendments to Boards and Commission Procedural Rules
Recommended Action
I move that Council approve that the Boards and Commission Procedural Rules be amended according to the attachments to this agenda item.

The County Manager recommends that Council approve the amendments as requested.
Body
In the recent Council review of their procedural rules, it was discovered that the interview and selection process for new Board and Commission members was not fully documented in the current Boards and Commission Procedural Rules. Amendments have been made to correct this item. The proposed amended procedural rules is shown in Attachment A while the redlined version is shown in Attachment B.
Alternatives
Council could decline to accept the amendments as presented and leave the Boards and Commission Procedural Rules in the current form or could decide to implement the recommendations in some other form.
