Board/Commission Appointment(s) - Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board
Recommended Action
I move that Council approve the reappointment of Linda Deck as one of two required tourism industry representatives and the appointment of Zack Aikey as one of two required lodging industry representatives to the Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board with both terms ending December 1, 2022.

The purpose of this item is to fill two vacancies on the Lodgers' Tax Advisory Board. The applicants for these positions are:
Linda Deck (I)
Zack Aikey (D)
All applicants were interviewed by an interview committee on December 18, 2019. The interview committee consisted of the following: the Board Vice Chair: Katie Bruell; the Council Liaison: James Robinson and the Staff Liaison: Kelly Stewart. The interview committee recommends reappointing Linda Deck and appointing Zack Aikey. The recommendation of the interview committee is attached.
Party affiliations are noted as [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote.
