Recommended Action
I move that Council approve AGR 20-22 with Advanced Network Management, Inc. for the purchase of software and hardware in the amount of $868,901.41, plus applicable GRT, to replace the County Wide VoIP Telephony System.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the agreement as requested.
Body
The proposed agreement will enable the replacement of the current Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony system. The current system has been in place and operating since 2005 and is well past its useful life. This will allow the County Telephony system hardware and operating system to be replaced with a stable and supportable system while maintaining all current and enhanced features available. This system will provide a single integrated Telephony system, operate on a converged Data\Voice network and provide system and feature redundancy to prevent a single point of system and communication failure.
Advance Network Management provided a scope of work including professional services to design, implement and provide maintenance on a Voice over Internet Protocol Telephony system that will fully incorporate the requirements requested. The VoIP system stays in alignment with the Los Alamos County Technology Standards and Requirements for an On-Premise Solution.

Council could choose not to approve this item.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
Some staff time will be involved to facilitate installation of these items, although the majority of the work is performed by the vendor. The hardware, Support and future hardware and software upgrade cost for 7 years is $868,901.41, plus applicable GRT.
