Chair Derkacs, Councilor Ryti, Deputy County Manager Anne Laurent, and Intergovernmental Affairs Manager Danielle Duran visited Washington, D.C. on February 7-9, 2024. The trip consisted of visits with the offices of Senator Martin Heinrich, Senator Ben Ray Lujan, and Representative Leger-Fernandez. The goal of the trip was to advocate on behalf of the County Federal priorities, which were previously approved by Council.
