Transportation Discussion Including Traffic Safety and Speeding Enforcement, Transit Staffing and Priorities, and Complete Streets Design Objectives

Councilor Ryti requested a discussion regarding speeding enforcement in response to one fatal and other concerning traffic accidents. Enforcement includes more police presence to enforce speed limits deter dangerous driving, and discussion about photo ticketing programs and what they entail.
In addition, the request was to include transportation related safety topics to the discussion including the status of providing and expanding transit service and an overview of Complete Streets design.
