Delegation of Authority from County Manager for Surveyor
Recommended Action
I move that Council approve the County Manager's Delegation of the Duties of the Surveyor of Los Alamos County to Jason Romero as provided in the attached Delegation and Designation of Surveyor Authority, and further move that this action supersedes any and all prior delegations to Jason Romero.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the delegation of authority of County Manager for Surveyor as requested.
Body
Article 302 of the County Charter, Duties and Powers of the County Manager, states in part that the County Manager is responsible for the performance of the duties of the Treasurer and Surveyor of Los Alamos County. The Charter further states that the County Manager may delegate these duties only with the formal approval of the Council.
