Recommended Action
I move that Council approve contract for general services, amended Agreement No. AGR 21-46-A1 with Locality Media, Inc. dba First Due in the amount not to exceed $4,015,866.50, plus applicable gross receipts tax, for the purpose of FedRamp fire inspection, Pre-Incident Plans, and Records Management Software as a Solution.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve this Contract for General Services as requested.
Body
LAFD’s current software as a solution does not meet the security requirements for Software as a Solution. The First Due product meets the security requirements for SAAS products that can house Pre-Incident plans, and response data. Our current software for records management (Firehouse) has reached end of life and is no longer supported. This amendment (Attachment B) seeks to add an additional module that would replace the current records management system and meets the security requirements of LANL. The original agreement is shown in Attachment B.
Alternatives
Continue to use the end-of-life software and risk data loss.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Unplanned Item
The funding for the is available through the current Other Direct Cost - CA budget.
