Body
AGR24-59 was approved by County Council via consent agenda at the June 25, 2024 meeting, in the amount of $2,131,620.00. This agreement did not include the amount awarded via grant from New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (hereinafter “CYFD”) , because that information was not received until June, 28, 2024. We are amending the amount of the agreement to include the updated amount, which adds $682,479.00 for over a period of three years (FY2025-2027) to the agreement. A subsequent budget adjustment will be done to align the amounts.

AGR24-59 includes the following; creating and maintaining comprehensive programs and services for youth and their families in Los Alamos County, including intensive case management services; support groups for youth and families; prevention programs; Restorative Justice programs; and Community Conversations. Staff include Resource Specialists, mental health professionals, and with this contract, a new part-time Certified Peer Support Specialist.

Funding is determined by Continuum Grant allocations of the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department (hereinafter “CYFD”) and the required County match (40% of CYFD Grant)....
