The Federal Legislative Working Group consisting of Chair Theresa Cull, Vice-Chair Suzie Havemann, Councilor Randall Ryti, along with County Manager Anne Laurent, and Intergovernmental Affairs Manager Danielle Duran visited Washington, D.C. on March 3-6, 2025. The trip consisted of visits with the offices of Senator Martin Heinrich, Senator Ben Ray Lujan, and Representative Leger-Fernandez. The goal of the trip was to advocate on behalf of the County Federal priorities, which were previously approved by Council. This item is to give a report on the trip.
