Recommended Action
I move that Council approve the grant and vacation of utility easements within Lot 197A and Lot 197B, a subdivision of North Community No. 3.
Utilities Manager's Recommendation
The Utilities Manager recommends that Council approve the motion as presented.
Body
The road and utility reconstruction project completed in 2023 adjacent to these properties relocated the storm drain into the road and added utility stub outs to serve Lot 197A, a vacant lot. This plat grants a new easement for the new sewer service and vacates the easements for the drainage.
Alternatives
If the easement vacation is not approved the encumbrance will remain on the property.
