Baling Twine Working Group Presentation and Possible Action
Motion
Option 1 - I move that ESB acknowledges the Baling Twine Working Group; thank them for their recommendations; ask staff to share the final report with the Parks and Recreation Board and the Community Services Director; and further move to sunset the Baling Twine Working Group effective immediately.
OR
Option 2 - I move that ESB acknowledges the Baling Twine Working Group; thank them for their recommendations; ask the working group to return with the following information__________; and further move to extend the Baling Twine Working Group term by ______________days.
Body
For the past three months, the Baling Twine Working Group has been assessing the viability of bailing twine collection and recycling and assessing the role of County, if any.
The Baling Twine Recycling Working Group will present the findings of their research and the board may take action.
