Discussion and possible action to recommend that an Ordinance be approved by the Los Alamos County Council for the Los Alamos Health Council members to transition to a once-yearly onboarding rotation, beginning annually in June. There will be an open application period from June 1 to June 30, interviews and recommendations for appointments will occur in July, and terms will begin upon appointment by the Los Alamos County Council and run for two years. This will exclude existing Health Councilors, who can re-apply for additional terms for which they are eligible. When a vacancy occurs, the position will remain open until June and applications will be accepted at that time.
