Recommended Action
I move that Council nominate and appoint Jeffrey Lloyd to fill one vacancy on the Library Board for a term beginning December 1, 2026 and ending on August 31, 2028.

The purpose of this item is to fill one vacancy on the Library Board.
The applicant for this position is Jeffrey Lloyd [D].
The interview was held on October 28, 2026 and the interview panel consisted of the following:
Council Liaison: David Reagor
Library Board Chair: Ryan Parker
Library Staff Liaison: Gwen Kalavaza
This five (5) member board has two (2) year terms, and the current roster is listed as part of Attachment A. Party affiliations are noted as [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote. Appointing this applicant will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions. These affiliations have been verified with the Clerk's Office.
