Recommended Action
I move that Council nominate and appoint Bryan Fearey to fill one vacancy on the Art in Public Places Board for the term August 27, 2026, to March 25, 2028.

The purpose of this item is to fill one (1) vacancy on the Art in Public Places Board and the applicant is:
Bryan Fearey [R]
The interview was held on August 10, 2026, and the interview panel consisted of the following:
Council Liaison: David Reagor
APP Board Chair: Tim Foley
APPB Staff Liaison: Chelsea Ashcraft, CSD Senior Management Analyst.
Attachment B contains the application and interview notes for Mr. Fearey. The interview panel recommends appointing Mr. Fearey to the Art in Public Places Board (Attachment C).
Party affiliations are noted as [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote. Appointing this applicant will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions. The applicant’s party affiliation has been verified with the Clerk's Office.
This five (5) member board has two (2) year terms, and the current roster is listed as part of Attachment A.
