Recommended Motion
I move that Council approve Services Agreement No. AGR 25-09 with DH Pace Company, Inc. dba Overhead Door Company of Santa Fe in the Amount of $1,500,000 plus Applicable Gross Receipts Tax for overhead door inspection maintenance and repair services.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the motion as presented.
Body
On October 25, 2024, the County advertised a formal competitive solicitation for Overhead Door Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Services through Request for Proposals No. 25-09. One (1) response was received on November 12, 2024, and the evaluation committee recommends award to DH Pace company, Inc. dba Overhead Door Company of Santa Fe.
The County currently owns and maintains 142 overhead (garage/shop) doors located across various county owned and operated facilities. See Attachment A, Exhibit A - Overhead Door Inventory.
The contract provides for a detailed inventory, condition assessment and maintenance plan for the county’s overhead door inventory. Additionally, the contract provides for quarterly inspections, routine and preventative maintenance, and service calls to repair, install and replace damaged or non-functioning overhead doors and equipment. All work shall be performed by properly trained, qualified and licensed staff and the contractor shall provide all necessary labor, tools, equipment, materials, and supplies to safely perform services in accordance with all applicable laws, industry best practices, and standards.
