Los Alamos County Environmental Services in conjunction with Los Alamos Public School, Earth Day art winners will be in the homecoming parade on September 21, 2018. The new refuse and recycle collection trucks are adorned with artwork from the Earth Day art contest and will be displayed in the parade. The messages vary from recycle and reuse to yard trimmings and bear awareness. The art contest winners and families have been invited to participate and walk alongside the trucks.
The staging begins at 1:30pm at Canyon Complex. The parade is scheduled to commence at 2:30pm.
The ESB is invited to help pass out recycle magnets, schedules, and candy.
