Discussion and Possible Action Regarding the July 15, 2026 BPU Regular Meeting
Recommended Action
I move that the Board of Public Utilities reschedule the July 15, 2026 Regular Meeting to (July 8, 2026 -OR July 22, 2026).

I move the Board of Public Utilities cancel the July 15, 2026 Regular Meeting and reschedule agenda items to subsequent meetings.
Utilities Manager's Recommendation
The Utilities Manager recommends that the Board approve July 22nd meeting date because this allows for Council action on July 28th for DPU items requiring their approval.
Body
Due to a lack of a quorum on July 15, 2026, this meeting needs to be rescheduled or cancelled. Possible dates to reschedule:
Wednesday, July 8, 2026
Wednesday, July 22, 2026
BPU Procedural Rules section 3.3 Annual Calendar of BPU Activities identifies the following activities for July:
- Introduction of new BPU member
- Orientation of new BPU member
- Annual Open Meetings Act and Code of Conduct Training by Attorney
- Annual Review of BPU Procedural Rules
- Presentation to Council by BPU Chair (Council Work Session on July 14, 2026)
Alternatives
The Board could propose other dates. Or, the July regular meeting could be cancelled and items moved to subsequent meeting dates.
