I move that Council Approve a Grant of Utility Easement Within Lot 361, a Subdivision of Quemazon Communities Phase 3.

Body
This document grants a utility easement that increases the width of an existing easement. The current easement boundary will shift 7 feet to the north. The additional easement area will total 679.514 square feet, providing access over the as-built location of a buried electric line. The additional area is valued at $16.19213 per square foot, resulting in a total fair market value of $11,002.78 for the affected land. Consistent with standard utility easement valuation practices, compensation is set at 10% of the fair market value. Accordingly, the landowner will receive $1,100.00 as compensation for the grant of utility easement.
Alternatives
If the grant of utility easement is not approved, legal access to the existing electric line will not exist.
