Reallocation of Portable Outfield Fencing Funding

The $52,000 was originally approved for portable fencing for North Mesa Complex (Bun Ryan) and Overlook (X-Lavato) to help make the fields more suitable for different uses. A new idea has been presented to us for review: Install a permanent 200’ homerun fence with a yellow safety cap on Bun Ryan field and install a new backstop, bleachers and dugouts on Minors A field at Overlook Park. By doing these improvements, the user conflicts on X-Lavato will be minimized due to increased usage of Minors A field. No action is necessary as we are seeking public and Board input to help us review this consideration.
