Recommended Action
I move that Council approve Budget Revision 2026-52 as summarized in Attachment A and that the attachment be made part of the minutes of this meeting.

The County Manager recommends that Council approves budget revision 2026-52 as requested.
Body
The purpose of this budget adjustment is to increase the expenditure budget to provide spending authority for an RFP that was awarded on 2/18/2026. This software interfaces with the current enterprise software for daily cash transactions, it also interfaces with the police department for streamlined citation entry, it then handles the daily court cases, electronically. Staff is able to process warrants, subpoenas, schedule dockets. It also allows defendants to pay their citations online.
Alternatives
Council could choose not to approve the funding for the related programs would be delayed or deferred until further notice.
