Each year, one transit agency is recognized for outstanding performance. Congratulations to Atomic City Transit for being awarded the New Mexico 2025 Rural Transit System of the Year Award. This honor highlights agencies that demonstrate excellence in providing reliable, efficient, and innovative public transit services to rural communities. Atomic City Transit continues to meet the evolving needs of its riders while strengthening mobility throughout the region. Funded through the 5311 Grants for Rural Areas Program, our team is proud to receive this recognition from both the New Mexico Transit Association and New Mexico Department of Transportation.

 

The Avail Transit Vanguard Award is a prestigious recognition presented by Avail Technologies as part of their annual Engage Awards program. It honors public transit agencies that demonstrate exceptional leadership, innovation, and a commitment to advancing transit technology to improve service.
