DPU Quarterly Report - Fiscal Year 2025/Quarter 4

The Board requested that the quarterly report be presented each quarter showing the status of the utility and providing project updates. Compiled by Public Relations Manager Cathy D'Anna, this report is for the fourth quarter of FY2025, covering the months of April, May and June. Highlights from the report
Page 3 - Utilities Manager's Report: New electric rates and a new rate structure were approved in June. Philo provides an overview, rationale behind the changes and potential benefits for everyone.
Page 12 - Safety Employee of the Quarter: DPU recognized Water Systems Apprentice 1 Diego Miramontes with this honor.
Page 15 - Electric Reliability: While DPU's SAIDI and CAIDI are both higher than they were for the same quarter the prior year, both are still below the state and national averages, and the SAIDI is below the not-to-exceed goal of 60 minutes as of June 30. The comparable data for the state and country will be updated from December 2023 to December 2024 in October.
Page 17 - Distributed Generation: As of the end of June, 524 electric customers have installed small solar distributed generation systems and are connected to the grid. Another 44 customers are in the process of connecting.
Pages 20-24 - Electric Production: After several non-generating months for the hydroelectric plants in FY2025, Abiquiu's 4th quarter generation matched what it was in the 1st quarter. On page 21, Deputy Utility Manager Ben Olbrich provides a breakdown of Q4 generation by month in comparison to the same time periods in the two previous fiscal years. Additionally, he gives an overview of the first full year of EV charger revenue.
