Los Alamos Downtown East Metropolitan Redevelopment Area (MRA) Designation Discussion

Similar to the process followed in establishing the White Rock Town Center Metropolitan Redevelopment Area (MRA), representatives from the New Mexico Main Street Program will present the proposal to establish an MRA in the defined eastern portion of the Los Alamos Downtown planning area (LA Downtown East.) The discussion will include an overview of the draft designation report and the benefits of creating and using an MRA in support of the efforts of revitalizing underutilized downtown commercial properties. Their presentation will also include an overview of the specific steps required of the County to establish an MRA and the resulting MRA tools in LA Downtown East.
