Recommended Action
I nominate Hailee Baer, Rachel Cazier, Jovita Mowrer, Ashley Naughton, Shelby Sparer, and Alison Watkins to fill six (6) vacancies on the Inclusivity Board and move that Council appoint Rachel Cazier, Ashley Naughton, and Alison Watkins to the term beginning 9/8/26 and ending on 6/30/2028 and appoint Hailee Baer, Jovita Mowrer, and Shelby Sharer to the term beginning 9/8/26 and ending on 6/30/2027.

The purpose of this item is to appoint the initial [7] members to the Inclusivity Board.

The interview panel consisted of Councilor Theresa Cull and Linda Matteson. All six applicants were interview on either August 31, 2026 or September 4, 2026. Since this Board is being created per the Municipal Code, three members shall only serve for one-year terms. The recommended term for each applicant is shown in Attachment A.
Appointing any of the nominees will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions.
