Discussion on Strategic Leadership Plan Performance Indicators for Launching a 2026 Community Dashboard

During Council's strategic planning session on October 2, 2025, the facilitator suggested the number of performance indicators for each objective be limited to no more than three to five for each area. The purpose is to better communicate with the public in a more succinct way how the Council's priorities are being worked on and their current status.This limitation would not prohibit having dashboards of progress for specific projects or plans as a separate dashboard. The name Community Dashboard is suggested better connect desired outcomes with County actions. This discussion is to provide direction before revising the performance dashboard currently on the website.
