I move that Council approve Amendment No. 1 to Services Agreement No. AGR 23-52a with Bohannan Huston, Inc., AGR 23-52b with Huitt-Zollars, Inc., AGR 23-52c with Miller Engineers, Inc. dba Souder Miller and Associates, AGR 23-52d with Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., and AGR 23-52e with Wilson and Company, Inc. Engineers and Architects for On-Call Engineering Services to Increase the Aggregate Not-to-Exceed Compensation Amount to $10,000,000 Plus Applicable Gross Receipts Tax.

The County advertised a formal competitive solicitation for On-Call Engineering Services on January 12, 2023 (RFP 23-52), and on May 2, 2023, Council approved award of the agreements to five respondents, Bohannan Huston, Inc., Huitt-Zollars, Inc., Miller Engineer Inc. dba Souder Miller and Associates, Stantec Consulting Services, Inc., and Wilson and Company, Inc. Engineering and Architects (Attachment A)
Under the original agreement, compensation is capped at a combined total of $5,000,000 plus applicable gross receipts tax. Amendment No. 1 will increase the aggregate compensation amount to $10,000,000. This increase will allow the county to continue to utilize the engineering on-call services prior to termination of the agreements which occurs on March 28, 2030 unless sooner terminated.
