Utilities Manager's Recommendation

The Utilities Manager recommends that no more than two (2) Board Members volunteer.

Body

Mr. James Wernicke is forming an Economic Equity Working Group under the Inclusivity Task Force. The purpose is to discuss cost-of-living issues like housing, utilities, food, health care, employment, commuting, etc., identify what people are struggling with, how local government and the community can help/are helping, and review progress. They are planning to meet once a month, possibly on the 4th Friday of the month from 8:00 - 9:00 am.  He would like to know if any BPU members would be interested in participating.  Participation is limited to two (2) BPU members.

Alternatives

Board Members may contact Mr. Wernicke directly in order to get more detailed information before deciding to volunteer.  Or, they could choose not to volunteer at this time.
