Recommended Action
I move that Council accept the offer of a Deed of Dedication of Gas Utility System for the Royal Crest Mobile Home Park and a Grant of Access and Utility Easement made by YES Elk Ridge, LLC.

The Board of Public Utilities reviewed this offer at their regular meeting on October 21, 2026 and recommends that Council approve the motion presented.
Body
DPU has been working with YES Communities over the last two years in replacing their aged gas infrastructure with new gas lines constructed within the Elk Ridge Mobile Home Park. All gas customers are now on the new gas distribution system and DPU installed all new meter sets that brings this mobile home park current with today’s requirements and standards. The last step is for YES Elk Ridge LLC to dedicate the gas system to the County and associated access and easements so DPU can maintain the gas system.
Alternatives
Council could choose not to accept this asset and associated access and easements.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
Since the project is complete, there is no additional budget or staff impacts.
