County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends the request the Transportation Board and County Engineer investigate the matter and return to Council with information and/or recommendations within 90 days.
Body
On March 25, 2026, the Girl Scouts Pajarito Service Unit submitted a petition on behalf of five (5) registered voters of Los Alamos County. The petition (shown in Attachment A) requested the Los Alamos County to make the North Rd. and Urban St. intersection a Four-Way Stop.
As provided for in the Los Alamos County Code, the Council shall place on the agenda of its next regular meeting the subject of any written request signed by five or more qualified voters of the County and presented to the county clerk at least ten (10) days prior to that meeting. This item is being placed on the Council agenda for acknowledgement and possible discussion and/or action.
