Recommended Action
I move that Council nominate and appoint Tim Foley and Jasmine Stephens to fill two vacancies on the Art in Public Places Board for the term March 28, 2026, to March 27, 2028.
Body
The purpose of this item is to fill two (2) vacancies on the Art in Public Places Board.
The following applicants are seeking re-appointment for a second term:
Tim Foley [D]
Jasmine Stephens [DTS]
The interviews were held on February 18, 2026, and the interview panel consisted of the following:
Council Liaison: David Reagor
APP Board Chair: Stephanie Haaser
APPB Staff Liaison: Chelsea Ashcraft, CSD Senior Management Analyst.
The interview panel recommends re-appointing both Mr. Foley and Ms. Stephens to the Art in Public Places Board.
Party affiliations are noted as [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote. Appointing any of these applicants will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions. These affiliations have been verified with the Clerk's Office.
This five (5) member board has two (2) year terms, and the current roster is listed as part of Attachment A.
