Recommended Action
I move that Council approve agreement no, AGR27-806 with CDW-G in the amount not to exceed $73,400.00, plus applicable Gross Receipts Tax, for the fIscal year 2027 purchase of Adobe Large Government Agencies (LGA) program licenses, and the total cumulative expense amount with CDW-G of $375,628.25 for fiscal years 2019 through 2027.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the AGR27-806 for General Services as requested.
Body
The County has maintained an Adobe LGA through CDW-G, an authorized software reseller, for multiple years however we are unable to obtain a multi-year agreement due to the vendor limitations. The cumulative cost (shown in Attachment C) of annual renewals now requires Council review and approval, and may continue to be required, annually, without the execution of a multi-year award.
This subscription includes Adobe Pro, All Apps, InDesign, Audition, Lightroom, and Photoshop. These licenses enable approximately 220 County employees and elected officials to edit PDF documents, produce marketing materials, and access a comprehensive library of photos and designs depending on assignment of licensing. The use of Adobe products is increasing as need arises; therefore, additional were budgeted for expansion.
Alternatives
The County would require an alternate solution for editing PDF documents and design.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
This agreement is included in Information Management's approved FY27 budget.
