Board/Commission Appointment(s) - Los Alamos County Health Council
Recommended Action
I nominate Stacy Frers, Susan Williams, and Jyl Dehaven to fill two (2) vacancy on the Los Alamos County Health Council and move that Council appoint two (2) to vacant position as follows:
By roll call vote, Councilors vote for up to three (3) nominees and the three (3) with the highest vote total of four or more be appointed to fill term beginning on June 9, 2026 and ending on June 9, 2028.

Currently, there are four (4) vacancies on the Los Alamos Health Council. The purpose of this item is to fill some of these vacancies and the three applicants are:

Party affiliations are noted as [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote. The current Council members' and applicants' party affiliations have been verified with the Clerk's Office. The application packets and interview notes for each nominee is shown in Attachments B, C, and D.
This fifteen (15) member board has two-year terms. It is currently composed as follows and as shown in Attachment A:
