Board/Commission Appointment(s) - Los Alamos County Health Council
Recommended Action
I move that Council re-appoint Joyce Richins and appoint Leah Blackwell, Rollin Tylerr Jones, and Heather Muck to the Los Alamos County Health Council for terms beginning on February 25, 2025 and ending on February 25, 2027.

The County Manager recommends that Council approve the action as requested.

The purpose of this item is to fill four (4) vacancies on the Los Alamos County Health Council.
The applicants for the vacancies are:

Heather Muck [R]
Party affiliations are noted as [D] Democrat, [R] Republican, [I] Independent, [G] Green, [L] Libertarian, [DTS] Declined to State, and [N] Not Registered to Vote. The applicants' party affiliations have been verified with the Clerk's Office.
This 15 member board has 2-year terms. It is currently composed as follows as shown in Attachment A:

Currently, four vacancies remain on the Los Alamos Health Council.
Appointing the nominees will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions.
