Recommended Action
I move that Council approve Budget Revision 2027-28 for the FY2027 Health Council Budget from the New Mexico Department of Health Agreement #27-HC-2008-00076 and include Attachment A as part of minutes of this meeting.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the motion as presented.
Body
The Department of Health, Public Health Division, Health Promotion Program, enters into this agreement with Rural Health Councils (HC) and Tribal Health Councils. The Effecitve date is upon approval of both parties, whichever is later. This Scope of Work is not to exceed $106,052. Agreement #27-HC-2008-00076. Please see Attachment A attached with more details.
Alternatives
Should Council choose not to approve the budget revision, we will not accept the funds from NM DOH and will need to use General Funds to cover these related Los Alamos County Health Council expenditures.
Fiscal and Staff Impact/Planned Item
The net fiscal impact is an increase in revenue to the Health Council Fund of $31,479 and an increase in expenditures to the Health Council Fund of $66,850. There is minimal staff impact.
