BPU Member Participation at Farmers Market

During strategic planning sessions, the board agreed to have more of a public presence. Beginning in 2024 it was suggested that members begin manning a booth at Farmer's Market in order to meet customers and listen to concerns.

 

The schedule posted at <https://farmersmarketsnm.org/> is:

                     Spring to Fall:  May - October

                     Location:  Ashley Pond Park

                     Thursdays: 7:00 a.m.- 12:30 p.m.

 

Board members are encouraged to volunteer to man the booth with Council Members on the fourth Thursday of each month from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.  These are the tentative dates:

                     May 21

                     June 25

                     July 23

                     August - no booth due to County Fair on August 6th

                     September 24

                     October 22
