Board/Commission Appointment(s) - Nuisance Code Implementation Review Task Force

Recommended Action

I nominate John Bloodwood, Robert Day, Philip Gursky, David Hanson, Robert Visel, Aaron Walker, and Kyle Wheeler to fill five (5) positions on the Nuisance Code Implementation Review Task Force and move that Council appoint five (5) to the vacant position(s) as follows:

 

By roll call vote, Councilors vote for five (5) nominees and the five (5) with the highest vote total of four or more be appointed to fill terms beginning on April 3, 2023 and ending on April 2, 2024.

Body

Council created and approved a charter for the Nuisance Code Implementation Review (NCIR) Task Force in February 2023.  Attachment B shows the charter for the NCIR Task Force.  The call for letters of interest was advertised in various media outlets over the last month.

 

The purpose of this item is to appoint members to this task force.

 

Seven letters of interest were received by the deadline and are shown in Attachment A.  The applicants for this position along with their residential neighborhood are:

 

1.  John Bloodwood (White Rock)

2.  Robert Day (LA- Eastern Area)

3.  Philip Gursky (LA - Elk Ridge)

4.  David Hanson (White Rock)

5.  Robert Visel (LA - Western Area)

6.  Aaron Walker (White Rock)

7.  Kyle Wheeler (LA - Barranca Mesa)
