Recommended Action
I move that Council approve the adjustment of purchase order no. 21298 three-year renewal of HPE Cohesity Software, a backup and recovery solution, and hardware, and accompanying addendum with Advanced Network Management (ANM) in the amount of $403,706.31 plus applicable Gross Receipts Tax.
County Manager's Recommendation
The County Manager recommends that Council approve the adjustment to purchase order no. 91298 for AGR27-815 with Advanced Network Management for three-year renewal of HPE Cohesity Software, a backup and recovery solution, and hardware, and accompanying addendum, in the amount of $403,706.31 plus applicable Gross Receipts Tax, as requested.
Body
The County utilizes HPE Cohesity software and hardware for data backup, recovery, and data protection services, supporting the organization’s information management infrastructure and off-site Disaster Recovery site. HPE Cohesity software increases the County’s security posture.
Purchase Order No. 91298 (attachment E) was originally issued on July 24, 2026, in the not-to-exceed amount of $292,168.80, plus applicable gross receipts tax, to renew this service, and an addendum (attachment D) was executed, on July 22, 2026, to modify the HPE Cohesity Agreements’ (Saas Service Level Agreement, SaaS Terms of Service, Support and Maintenance Terms and Conditions, Scope of License Terms, End User License Agreement, and any other applicable agreement, as may be amended by HPE Cohesity) terms and conditions between the County and ANM. The purchase order has been amended to include the not-to-exceed amount of $403,706.31 plus gross receipts tax (attachment C).
