Recommended Action
I move that Council nominate and appoint Irene Powell to the Historic Preservation Advisory Board for a term beginning May 1, 2026 and ending April 30, 2029.
Body
The purpose of this agenda item is to appoint one new member, Irene Powell, to the Historic Preservation Advisory Board to fill one of the two vacancies on the Historic Preservation Advisory Board. One vacancy is for a term beginning May 1, 2026, and ending April 30, 2029. The second vacancy is for a term beginning October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2029.
Applicant Irene Powell [DTS] was interviewed on May 20, 2026, to fill a regular vacancy.

Appointing this nominee will not violate the County Charter restriction concerning political party majorities on Boards and Commissions.
